“Xerox Book”, 2010
Xerox Book is a ‘bootleg’; an unauthorised facsimile of Seth Siegelaub’s ‘Xerox Book’, originally published in 1968 in an edition of 1,000 copies. The bootleg is a project initiated by Rollo Press, to be undertaken in ten instalments. The first instalment of 100 copies has been produced as part of Book Show at Eastside Projects, Birmingham, July 2010. Visitors to the exhibition may bring a book from their own collection to be exchanged for a copy of the bootleg. At the end of the exhibition these books will be added to the Eastside Projects library.
