This Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR & AR) focused workshop is designed to enable small and medium sized enterprises, micro businesses and sole traders (SMEs) to explore new technologies and develop new ideas.
With the potential to change many aspects of our lives this increasingly accessible technology offers a range of exciting creative, social and commercial opportunities. Uniquely capable of creating wraparound, immersive virtual environments and visceral interactive experiences, VR and AR are fast growing, with a range of technological applications across diverse sectors from art and culture to gaming, health, manufacturing and product development.
STEAMlab#2 will be a hands-on practical workshop with sessions led by Collusion and Holosphere.
STEAMlabs are open to SMEs and are aimed at artists and creatives, academics, coders, developers, entrepreneurs, scientists, and engineers in established, or newly established companies working in a range of industries including health, manufacturing, low carbon, creative and digital.
STEAMlabs are delivered by STEAMhouse which is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund. To qualify to access the FREE workshops you will need to meet the eligibility criteria.
