ONLINE Workshop: Alternative Strategies

Tuesday, 23 February 2021
2 – 4pm

Struggling to come up with fresh ideas? Find yourself always ending up at the same point? Want to shift your thinking?

Join Artist and Curator Chris Alton for an interactive workshop focussed on ideas generation.

Drawing on the methods of Brian Eno, Corita Kent, and Victor Papanek, as well as his own, this practical session will deploy play, chance, collaboration, and other disruptive approaches, to offer alternative ways to generate ideas and new thinking.

Register your interest via the event link.

Chris Alton (b. 1991, Croydon) is an artist and curator. Whether deploying disco music in opposition to fascism, proposing art schools be built over golf courses, or producing video essays on the colonial intent of the trident’s; his work addresses the interconnected nature of prevailing social, political, economic and environmental conditions. He is also a skateboarder and founding member of the Platt Fields Skatepark Community.
