Wednesday, 30 January 2019
6 – 8pm

Navigating copyright laws can be confusing, so it’s important to know your rights and understand how to protect your work.

In this interactive workshop DACS, the not-for-profit visual artists’ rights management organisation, will demystify copyright, enabling you to make it work for you and your career. They will also help you to understand how you can generate income from licensing and royalty schemes.

Designed for visual artists from a range of disciplines, from photographers and fine artists, to illustrators, sculptors and cartoonists, participants will:

  • Learn how to protect their rights in a range of scenarios – including when working in collaboration
  • Learn how to earn from licensing and other royalty schemes
  • Develop an understanding copyright, and gain the confidence to apply this to their art career
