Birmingham Production Space: Starting the Conversation

This first public event was a chance to find out more about the Birmingham Production Space proposal, hear about some of the spaces and organisations that the group behind it have visited and, most importantly, feedback on the ideas it sets out.

This event was open to all but aimed particularly at artists, designers, architects, makers, cultural producers, policy makers and others who might use, or contribute to the development of, the project. The Birmingham Production Space proposal imagines a large-scale interdisciplinary workspace where world-class creative work can be made, a building with workshops and support for making at its core.
