Welcome to Re-Action School, the doors to the classroom are open.

Re-Action School is an intensive, quick-fire, learning experience exploring how to make personal responses to current politicised situations. Made up of a series of practitioner led micro-master-classes the programme focuses on hands on learning through using visual language. The micro event series aims to act as a school for sharing knowledge and developing practical skills to react, re-act! re (reversal) act (done again)

Bringing together art, activism and policy the first two Saturday School’s will focus on two Eastside Projects policies that are being discussed through Policy Show; 50% Women and Living Wage.

Day 1: LIVING WAGE / THE CAMPAIGN BEGINS HERE
With Magda Fabianczyk (Artists Union England), Rosalie Schweiker

The first day of school will investigate the process of campaign production, exploring how to bring action to life. Whilst addressing practical questions of form and content the day will also focus on Eastside Projects policy commitment to pay a minimum of the real living wage to all employees. Touching on issues of precarious labour and exploitation the day will actively look at how individuals have the power to make changes.
