The Exchange 2026
Deadline: 15 December 2025

EOP is a network built on personal connections and mutual support.
The Exchange 2026 aims to bring EOP members together, pairing peers and opening up space for new creative conversations. Though projects have emerged from previous iterations, there is no expectation that anything other than new professional relationships, constructive conversations, and friendships will develop. It is ultimately an open-ended process with no limits or boundaries, simply framed by the invitation to begin a discussion.
The Exchange 2026 will begin in January.
THE COMMITMENT
As a minimum Exchange participants must commit to:
- Meeting their partner online or in person once a month for at least three months. Please think carefully about this – if you cannot make this commitment please do not apply as it is not fair on your partner.
- Communicating directly with your partner (once introduced) to organise conversations/meetings.
- Attending an online group workshop on Thursday 28 January, 6.30–8pm.
- Providing informal feedback after 3 months.

BACKGROUND
The Exchange 2026 builds on The Exchange (2021) and The Exchange 2 (2022), The Extraordinary Exchange (2023), The Exchange 2024 and The Exchange 2025. In these previous iterations of the project over 100 artists have been paired together. Although there was no expectation of a formal outcome many artists did make together, producing everything from videos, online video games and sacred knotting installations to performances and walking trails. There were a variety of responses, connections, outcomes and conversations with some artists being in touch only during their Exchange and others who have continued to talk and collaborate long beyond.
