ESP: Cardiff Away Day
25 April, 9am-8pm (including travel times)

Join ESP for an Away Day to Cardiff, to coincide with 2019 ESP Members Show we are heading to the home city of Freya Dooley where she also has an exhibition at Chapter Gallery. We will visit the city meeting other artists and visiting other galleries, studios and project spaces.

This is a great opportunity to meet other ESP members and get to know new people in another city.

The day will include a visit to Freya Dooley’s exhibition The Song Settles Inside of the Body it Borrows at Chapter, lunch with G39 artists and a visit to their current exhibition, a trip to Spit & Sawdust to see the newly commissioned Jasleen Kaur billboard, and lots more.

Day Schedule 
11.30: Arrive in Cardiff
11.45 Visit Spit and Sawdust to meet Nia Metcalf, Founder of Spit and Sawdust, to see the latest billboard commission by Jasleen Kaur.
13.00 Meet with G39 for lunch (freshly made soup), to meet the team and fellowship artists.
15.00 Visit Arcade and Campfa and meet the team, and artist in residence.
16.00 Meet with Freya Dooley at Chapter to visit her exhibition and talk to Hannah Firth, Director of Programme, about the Arts Centre
17.30 Dinner
18.45 Depart Cardiff
