EOP Studio 2026

From 9 June – 25 July 2026 the second gallery at Eastside Projects will host the first EOP Studio.

EOP Studio 2026 will be a temporary site for experimentation, collaboration, testing and exchange. We are looking for artists with things to try out or scale up, with ideas for new work that they want to test, explore and develop alongside other people in a mutually supportive environment.

Four EOP Studio artists will receive:

  • £750 bursary
  • Up to £150 for production (materials, travel etc)
  • Access to EOP studio from 9 June – 25 July, Tuesday to Saturday from 10.30am – 5.30pm
  • A shared budget of £500 which can be spent on programming for the group – eg  bringing in an external voice, a group visit, a workshop etc. This will ideally also benefit other EOP members
  • Support and mentoring from the Eastside Projects team including Ruth Claxton and Gavin Wade
  • Access to tools and equipment (through negotiation with the EP Team)
  • Opportunities to test work with audiences including on July’s First Friday

Studio Artists will be expected to spend at least 5 days in the studio, attend at least two group sessions and an end of project feedback event. Dates will be arranged once the group is selected.
