Away Day: Coventry Biennial

Application deadline: 23 October, 6pm
Trip date: 13 November 10-6pm

Explore art in the Midlands!

We are going for a day to Coventry for a guided tour of Coventry Biennial led by its Founder and Artistic Director Ryan Hughes, and to meet artists based in the city.

Coventry Biennial is a young, social and political platform for contemporary art in Coventry, the UK and Internationally.

Taking place every two years, Coventry Biennial produces significant exhibitions, events and experiences in Coventry and the surrounding area for diverse and widespread audiences and participants.

The second Coventry Biennial will run from 4 October to 24 November 2019 across the city.

This day trip will also be a great way to meet, and get to know, other EOP members.

EOP will cover cost of a guided tour. EOP members will have to cover their travel and lunch costs. We will have lunch with Coventry based artists in an affordable cafe.

If you are planning of going by car we can put you in touch with other interested members to share travel costs.

To sign up email ania@eastsideprojects.org with a short text (up to 100 words) explaining why you want to come to Coventry, and what you hope to get out of the trip. Please also let us also know of any access requirement and if you have a car and are happy to drive.
