Why is Painting Still Important?

This panel discussion attempted to unpick current ideas and ignite critical conversation about the diversity of contemporary painting practice. Held in the midst of Painting Show the discussion was framed by presentations from Damien Roach (artist) and DJ Simpson (artist). The event was chaired by Professor David Rayson, Head of Painting at the Royal College of Art.
