Introducing Contemporary China

The second in a series of events exploring the context of contemporary art practice in China, Elizabeth Wewiora, programme co-ordinator at Chinese Arts Centre, Manchester introduced their projects and current artist in residence Ting-Tong Chang spoke about his practice. This was followed by the screening of a recent interview, conducted by ESP member Rachel Marsden, with Xu Zhen of Madeln Company, Shanghai who were currently showing work in Birmingham as part of the 48 Sheet billboard project by EC-Arts.
